Miley is a Chartered Physiotherapist and member of the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists (ISCP) and CORU. Miley qualified with a Master of Science (MSc.) – Physiotherapy degree from The University of Brighton.
Miley worked initially in the UK completing core training in respiratory care, care of the elderly, neurology, accident and emergency care, hydrotherapy and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.Later Miley moved to Waterford and worked as part of the physiotherapy department at University Hospital Waterford and Primary Care.
During this time Miley worked on developing a special interest in knee pain and arthritis, assisting in the development of a comprehensive knee programme for those suffering with knee pain and functional difficulties.
